Keep your furnace well maintained and working at optimal efficiency while protecting yourself from any unforeseen repair and expenses. Our Furnace Protection Plan is an annual program that protects your furnace throughout the year. As part of the plan, we conduct an annual maintenance, which involves inspecting, cleaning, testing furnace components and lubricating moving parts. No charge 24 hour emergency call out service (during policy coverage) from the months of September 1 to April 30. Any emergency call after business hours (8:00am to 4:00 pm) during the months of May to August will be dealt with on the next business day.

The parts listed must be replaced or repaired by Peninsula Co-op Home Heating or Accutemp and will be covered if failure is due to normal wear (low pressure or obsolete equipment not insured). Any requests by the authorized service representative regarding the changing of the air filters and power vacuum of the furnace must be followed for the service protection plan to be honored.
Items not covered
Air filters, heat exchangers, circulating water pumps, zone controllers, chronotherms, automatic water feeds, moduflo systems,multi-speed blower motors, humidifiers, electronic air cleaners, underground oil tanks, heat pumps, and other accessories not an integral part of the oil burner or control, investigation of noises and fuel consumption issues.
Conditions
- Accutemp will endeavor to render prompt and efficient service hereunder but it is expressly agreed that Accutemp shall in no event be liable for damage or loss caused by delay or loss arising out of the performance of the agreement.
- Accutemp reserves the right to reject any agreement if on inspections by serviceman, equipment is found in such condition that service will be unsatisfactory to both parties.
- It is mutually agreed that this agreement covers only electrically operated units inside the equipment and does not cover electrical or plumbing work or balancing beyond the units, or any work required because of negligence, misuse of equipment or because of fire, flood, acts of god, shortage of electrical or water supply, sabotage or damage caused by freezing.
- No service will be rendered under this agreement if a customer has a past due account.
- In order to qualify for insurance an inspection by Accutemp must be performed on the furnace.
- Any heat pump related problem is non-insurable under this plan.
- The planned service protection agreement is valid from the approved date of inspection for a one year time period. An extension
of the plan coverage will not be given once the policy anniversary date expires.
- Plan covers one furnace only.
